The Coastal Trail |

We’ll take you into Los Alcornocales Natural Park, which is the world’s 2nd largest cork oak forest, extending over 170,000 hectares of land in the eastern Cadiz province and western Malaga province. Experience real peace and tranquility as we drive you through mountain passes which give way to majestic views across the Bay to Gibraltar. You’ll stop at one of these viewpoints to enjoy a picnic lunch.
The trail then leads down towards the spectacular coastline of Tarifa. A stop at the windmill farm allows you to capture the commanding views across the Straits to Morocco. Down at the beach the beauty of the natural rock formations blends in with the man-made watchtowers perched high on each point.

We’ll start driving up the Gaudiaro and Genil rivers and up to the small picturesque town of Gaucin after a short tour throgh the village we will continue for lunch in El Colmenar on the enterance of the Alcornocales Natural Park and continue driving through the enchanting forest discovering the different vegetation and wildlife of the area.

On the romantic ‘Moonlight Trail’
you’re likely to see some of the wildlife of the
area – deer, roe deer, foxes, polecats, wildcats
and more, the Alcornocales also boast an important population
of eagles and falcons.
